We absolutely refuse to cut corners and rush work through to get paid quick as we feel there is nothing to gain from this type of work ethic but disappointment both to ourselves and to our customers, we want you to receive the very best workmanship that we can possibly produce. If you have set yourself an unrealistic 'show' deadline then we are simply NOT the custom painters for you and we are certainly not prepared to break 'the rule' and put our quality standards and your paint work at risk, period.
At Killin Joke Kustoms we believe that you the customer should have complete control in the painting of your project and nothing will be added or changed without your consent, which means no hidden charges and no extra costs for something you were not made aware of or didn't want. We strongly believe that you should be involved in every stage of the painting to give you peace of mind that what you get at the end is exactly what you wanted or far better. The only limit to your paint work is you.
Though we can give you an approximate turnaround time we simply cannot give you an exact time as 'custom' means just that, and no two projects are ever the same. However, what we can be exact about is the cost of your project and guarantee that the price agreed will remain exactly the same should your project exceed the hours estimated before work is undertaken. What we also guarantee is that if your paint work is completed under the estimated hours then the savings will be passed on to you the customer.
Our main advice to anyone thinking about investing in custom paint work for their project is to simply shop around and compare not only the prices but the quality of workmanship available, cheap sounds great but don't expect it to last is what we have always found true. Turning out quick, cheap looking paint work is not what we're about, turning heads is. Helmet Paint Work
We offer a helmet painting service that will make your lid stand out from the crowd of 'off the shelf' helmets. From simply changing the overall colour or adding something a little more personal to a factory graphics finish right the way through to your own personal design from base colour onwards. Options also include blending your visor into the helmet paintwork for a very trick finish.
Factory to Custom Finish
This is the most cost effective way to own a customized paint job and can be as simple as adding a set of painted graphics right the way through to more complexed airbrushed designs straight onto a sound factory finish. This option will save on both a large amount of preparation time and materials and in turn will certainly save you money. There is no compromise to the quality of the finish if you choose this option as the same amount of care and attention to detail is still guaranteed.
Full Custom Paint Work
This type of work is done from either a factory finish or bare metal up and is where you the customer have complete control in how you want the final piece to look, from the base colour right the way through to the artwork that is laid over it. This is for those who want something completely unique to them that will not be repeated and involves a multitude of paint and detail options that can be incorporated into your design. We also mould all frames and sheet metal should this be required in the final look of your project for the ultimate in smooth transition of body work.
Race Replica
Want to bring the liveries of the race track onto your road bike, then we can give you high quality race replica paint work that will look fast even when its parked up. There are a number of options available which include the vinyl graphics laid on top of the cleared finish as standard or clear coated into the finish, we can also paint the graphics on for the ultimate 'no raised edge' finish.

Accidents can and do happen but we cater for this area too, from stone chip damage and minor scuffs right through to larger impact damage. Our repair service also includes plastic welding on all hard plastic type body work such as fairings and seat units etc, and repairs to GRP (fibre glass) are also included in our repair service.
